Directions to the Approaching Sustainability Tour Sites

North, South, East, West, coming from where you are is always the best!  However, these directions are from Keene NH.

To the Piedmont Fleischmann’s Homestead 352-1887
Go north on Washington St. Bear right onto Rte 9/10 heading toward Concord.  One-half mile later, take a left onto Rte 10  (sign for Gilsum and Newport).  On the other side of Bingham Hill, you will enter the village of Gilsum, passing the Gilsum Stone Arch Bridge on the left.  Less than a mile later, notice the "Welcome to Gilsum" sign.  Emerson Brook Drive is a right turn, about 3.5 miles further north on Rte. 10.  If you see the Marlow town marker, you've just passed us.   Once on Emerson Brook Drive, continue up the hill for .3 (three-tenths) of a mile to find us!

To Mole Hill 352-2585
Follow above directions to Gilsum Village.  At the “Welcome to Gilsum” sign bear left on to Main Street/Gilsum Mine Rd. past the Gilsum Village Store.  Mole Hill is on the right, two miles up hill past the store.

To Ruffled Feathers Farm 446-9474, and
To the Orchard Hill Farm Community 835-6115 and Orchard School
From The Piedmont Fleischmann’s home, turn right (North) onto Rt 10 travel 3.4 miles. Turn left onto Rte 123 and travel 4.6 miles. Turn right onto North Road (at blinking yellow light) go 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Old Settlers Road to Orchard Hill Farm Community and The Orchard School.  To visit Ruffled Feathers Farm, turn right on Old Settlers Road. Go 1 mile, driveway on left.

From the Mole Hill parking area: turn right heading north on Gilsum Mine Rd.  Continue straight without taking any turns for 4.2 miles (you will be crossing the intersection of Rte 123 at the blinking light and passing the Alstead Church.) At Old Settlers Rd. go left to Orchard hill or right to Ruffled Feathers Farm.

To Cold Pond Community Land Trust
From Orchard Hill or Ruffled Feathers Farms turn north on North Rd.  Go about 2.6 miles, take a right on to Beryl Mountain Rd. Go 1.9 miles. Cross over 123A to Hill Rd. Proceed for 2.0 miles.  Bear right onto Cold Pond Rd., which is also the road to Unity. Go .8 miles. CPCLT is on the right. This is a scenic, not overly well-maintained route so drive slowly and watch for the turtles!
